Census results for Michigan counties

Some of you need to step up your game. You are not good ambassadors for your county. Other are putting in the work. Looks like Bob's big money investment in the Mio-a-Lago resort complex is not doing much to attract long-term residents.

I know the Doctor my wife works for keeps buying and buying by his hunting "cabin" up near black lake. I'm positive he is just pricing the locals out of acreage. All for 2 weeks of drunken idiocy with his bros.

Near Cheboygan? He is buying up land to host huge Sturgeon Shivaree parties.

Once they clamped down on opiod prescriptions being filled at local pharmacies the Mio economy took a beating.

In 2013 Oscoda County saw 156 opioids perscribed per every 100 residents but by 2019 that had fallen to 9.7 per every 100 persons in the county. That's a 94% drop off business for local pharmacies and the customers driving to the county to get their pills.
