So you close the economy down and then brag about the economy growing after your lockdown mandates are thrown out.
Yeah, democrats are dumb enough to buy that.

You were crowing about the economy jumping back in the 3rd & 4th quarters in 2020, which was when much of the recovery from the covid induced issues occurred.
Much of 2021's growth has been due to the "great reset" where lower-level incomes have seen a significant increase in their incomes and have also seen their take home pay increase at a rate about 8.9% since January 2020. Much of that growth was in 2021. This is the demand side shock which has partly driven inflation.
"Realtime Inequality provides the first timely statistics on how economic growth is distributed across groups. When new growth numbers come out each quarter, we show how each income and wealth group benefits. Controlling for price inflation, average national income per adult in the United States increased by 7.6% in 2021, and average income for the bottom 50% grew by 11.7%."

Any real lockdown lasted all of two weeks, was two years ago, and nothing resembling any real government measure to prevent the spread of covid has been implemented since largely due to you and people like you incessantly bitching about how wronged you were, leading to a million American deaths.
Honestly man, stop being such a bitch.

In TN's defense (which I would not normally come to), it was trending heavily again on Twitter today. Not sure why.

A liberal site wrote:So how did the TVA get here? By the sheer influence of the fossil fuel industry and the adoration its board and CEO have for massive polluters. Jeff W. Smith, who was nominated by Donald Trump to serve on the TVA board, mentioned nothing about climate change or emissions in his statement ahead of his confirmation. Instead, the former Oak Ridge National Lab COO focused on “reliable, low cost energy.” Fellow Trump nominee and former Republican politician Beth Harwell verbally committed to clean energy investments during a 2020 Subcommittee on Clean Air and Nuclear Safety meeting but has seemingly no environmental record and clearly doesn’t give a shit given the direction the TVA continues to head in. Yet another Trump nominee, A.D. Frazier, spent 24 years as director of what he boasts to be a “Fortune 500 oil and gas company.” And Chair William Kilbride, also a Trump nominee and even a donor, has been similarly quiet about climate change. His opening remarks for his confirmation really only discussed sustainability as it relates to plastic recycling and just how much he loves the Tennessee River and therefore doesn’t want it to be polluted. At least there’s no longer literally a retired coal executive on the board?

So, Trump has sabotaged the large, federally owns and controlled electricity utility which is supplying power to the GM & Ford Southern BEV Plants.

Looks like the Blue Oval has a couple of major PR problems on its hands ...

If you read further, it is actually worse than what I quoted ...
This combined with TVA being chock full of Trump appointees who are against renewable energy makes Ford's choice to look very. very bad.
Liberal site wrote:There’s something suspicious happening in the predominantly Black town of Mason, Tennessee, a rural town that for years has been financially in debt thanks to its all-white local government.
Now, just as the massive Blue Oval City manufacturing campus—a key component of Ford Motor Co.’s multibillion-dollar electric vehicle manufacturing apparatus—has plans to move less than five miles from the town, Mason has been pressured to relinquish its charter (which they refused to do). As a result, the town has been financially taken over by Tennessee Comptroller Jason Mumpower.
“Mumford admitted that the debt goes back 20 years and has said that we can’t handle the finances of our city. He didn’t think the people who stole the money were irresponsible,” Mason Vice Mayor Virginia Rivers tells Daily Kos.
The takeover comes over the outrage and objections of Mason’s recently elected nearly all-Black officials, who say race is at the center of the town’s takeover. It’s an allegation Mumpower has denied.

UL Solutions, a global safety science company, officially began construction Monday on its North America Advanced Battery Laboratory in Auburn Hills.
In addition to Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, other federal, state and local government officials present for the groundbreaking included U.S. Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-Lansing), U.S. Rep. Haley Stevens (D-Waterford Twp.), Oakland County Executive David Coulter, Michigan Economic Development Corporation CEO Quentin Messer, Jr., and Auburn Hills Mayor Kevin McDaniel.
Whitmer said the company’s investment in Michigan stood as proof that her administration’s efforts to grow the state’s economy were paying off.
