Spring Hill, that name sounds familiar. Oh, I know, that's the same place that Governor John Engler lost that GM Saturn plant to. It's nice of GM to reopen that plant after all that Engler did for them.

This doesn't count because Engler is a man with an R next to his name.

The actual story behind this is that the Republicans promised Michigan would be overflowing with investments like this when they were passing their massive tax cuts for the wealthy with massive tax increases for the poor during the Sydnor Administration ... surprise, the wealthy got more money, the poor got less money, and there were few new jobs or investments.

Now, with the Ford & GM investments in Michigan South suddenly Whitmer had a gun to the current elected Republician's heads and they passed the investment bills they should have passed 8 years ago, thus investment in Michigan.

This has to be some sort of record. Not a single republican complaint about this bill that is fixing the damm roads and reducing the destruction of public schools.
