but, these people used to be the folks just wondering around on the street corner mumbling to themselves. Everyone would kinda shrug and feel sorry for them. Now they're mainstream republicans. This is who they are, who they celebrate and the voices that they amplify.

People thought they were loud and crazy, but it didn’t matter much until they were mobilized into politics. This has been bubbling up in middle and upper middle classes for awhile. It’s not a bunch of street people, Bob. You ride by their nice houses on your bike, mostly on your DeWitt route.

Memories Pizza in Walkerton IN refused to fill an order for a gay wedding party in 2015.  Made national news and they became the darlings of right wing talking heads for their right to refuse customers.  A GoFundMe campaign netted $800K.   3 years later Memories Pizza closed.
