We're #16 in the Pairwise. Have to get to #15 to get in, because Atlantic Rinky Dink Conference gets an automatic qualifier (and all their teams are way behind in the Pairwise). Just assume it will be RIT (#21).

Beating Minnesota should be good enough to get us in.

Option B is we get some help. Losing to Minnesota wouldn't hurt our RPI that much anyway.

Need Merrimack #15 and Northeastern #17 to lose in the Hockey East playoffs on Saturday. Single elimination. Opponents TBD among BC #24, Maine #26, Providence #26, UMASS #29, New Hampshire #46.

Omaha #18 losing in the NCHC playoffs would also help. They play North Dakota #22 in a best 2/3 series starting Friday. North Dakota beat them twice last weekend.

Beating Minnesota in a best of three would unthinkable. In a single game elimination anything can happen, but I still think we're going to need all the help we can get from forces outside our own control.

What a great way for this rebuilding team to measure itself. Nobody thinks we’re favored to win an NCAA, but Minnesota is. Let’s see how this team has grown. Whatever the outcome I couldn’t be more pleased with this first year.
