What's the last thing you bought?
The infomercial was provocative, but not in the horny way Greenway likes.

A new Nook, after I left mine on my patio table through our first big rainstorm of the fall.

Just bought a bunch of dog treats from Detroit’s own Happy Howie’s. The GreenWay dog loves ‘em.
Need some new jeans so that will probably be tonight’s purchase, but I also want to get something to read.

You’re not supposed to do that, Pervis.

Next time you’re drinking, try reading the Nook owner’s manual, where it will tell you not to leave your Nook in big fall rainstorms.

Funny you mention. Saw one for the first time at ACE hardware last week. No way I'd pay that much for that one dimensional thing.NigelUno wrote:The Pantry wrote:The infomercial was provocative, but not in the horny way Greenway likes.

I also need a precast concrete step for my porch, but for some reason they’re nowhere to be found. Been looking for weeks with no luck.

Yeah. Not sure I’d make enough pizza to justify it.

I just got a Red Stag pizza oven to use with the Traeger. It’s not necessary to have the pizza oven on the Traeger, but it cooks the toppings more evenly and less likely to burn the crust. Looking forward to using it this weekend.

I just bought a Groupon for maid service. It will be good timing for a deep clean just before Thanksgiving.
I wish I could afford a weekly maid. I think a lot of anxiety would decrease if I had that.

Childrens acetaminophen. Wildly exciting. Before that some groceries. Before that some takeout. Before that a big bird costume.

Making your own pizza seems like a bad idea to me. There are many meals you can make at home that are as good as you'll get in a restaurant, but I wouldn't put pizza on that list.

Use to make pizza in the oven every couple months on some stones. Used dough balls from Jets. Made my own cheese blend of mozzarella, asiago, and fontina. Damn good.Motown Spartan wrote:Pervis Muldoon wrote:Making your own pizza seems like a bad idea to me. One of my kids has that, they (the kid and spouse) totally clean up their house each week before the maid service shows up, so not sure what it is doing other than incentive to clean the house once a week.

We have always made our own pizza, not sure why anyone would think it is hard to do or that an order out pizza is better.
Re: What's the last thing you bought?
How much is a maid service anyway? I’d probably be interested if it were reasonable but not interested enough to call and get a quote

Re: What's the last thing you bought?
Wyff hired a maid for a couple years, despite her being home all day every day. Same deal. House had to get cleaned up the day before the maid got there. Think she charged $20/hour, but that was ~20 years ago.Trapper Gus wrote:Dendrobates wrote:I just bought a Groupon for maid service. It will be good timing for a deep clean just before Thanksgiving.
