Re: What's the last thing you bought?
Started this thread with the Ninja Woodfire Grill. Ninja recently came out with a 30% larger version. Two probes and can monitor/change cooking temp with your phone. Don't need the extra capacity or wireless but thought others might be interested. The original has worked great.
I do not have the wireless version, but wouldn't mind one. The original is a nice little cooker. Solid/well made. Multifunctional. Very convenient...haven't fired up any of my 3 charcoal Webers since buying it. Easy cleanup. Only thing that burns is the pellets (1/2 cup) for smoke flavor, if you decide to use them. Convection fan cuts cook times way down. Delicious smoked wings in only 20 minutes on the air crisp setting:
Many positive reviews on YT if you wanna check those out. 3-year warranty on the Pro (with probe[s] ) models.

Not so fast, my friend. Consider what Mrs. Travis walks in all day.

Follow up. Came packaged very well. Beautiful and excellent construction. Things are very pointy, coming with tip guards. The Pantry wrote:Current steak knives are many years old and the rivets are falling out. Never heard of the brand before yesterday. Look good, inexpensive, and decent reviews so bought a set.

The brand was registered registered out of China in April, 2021. From the reviews in link you posted all but four of the reviews were from people who received the product for free. Personally, I disregard those. The stated hardness is a bit softer than I would like to see in a serrated steak knife as they are difficult to sharpen and rarely are.
From the picture you posted they do appear to be well made. The third one form the left looks a little iffy in handle construction.

I don't know if you ever really want to put good knives in the dishwasher. But, I could be wrong.

Okay...I gotta know. What is wrong with the third one from the left? If I moved the knives around in the slots and took another pic, could you tell the iffy one again?MSU addict wrote:Knives are a bit of a hobby, so...

I could just be the picture or how the knife is sitting in the foam (it does not looked skewed - twisted in the foam a little but not that much) but the pommel is not symmetrical. Also (again from the picture) the handle appears a bit off in color - it could be the reflection of the knife above - and slightly wider at the top then the others. The pommels on the other knives are pretty close in size, but not as exact as I would like (compare 2 and 4 from the left).
Again I am just going from the picture. It could be just how it is sitting in the foam. Without actually closely examining them by hand I cannot really say.

I just can’t quit my 501s. However, I have toyed with the idea of buying some Bean flannel-lined jeans for walking the dog at night on the coldest winter nights. Some nights, a base layer can’t cut all the wind.

Sorry I missed this one last night...Calico indeed. I probably will be skipping the gredunza. Good reference, though I had to look it up lol.
While 7-oh-oh would be a great name the cat came with one (imagine that). It's not "bite me", but Sassy, and I'm not changing it.

Does LL Bean have jeans that aren't stretch? I think you can still get 501s that aren't stretch but the 505s and 514s are all stretch at this point. Canvas pants are all stretch at this point too. Drives me nuts. I don't want stretch dammit.
