No stretch. I like stone washed. Comfortable and durable. Fell in the driveway 3 weeks ago and bloodied my knees pretty bad. Jeans sustained zero damage.Rick Saunders wrote:tGreenWay wrote:

also have a couple of pair of Levi's cords that are the jean cut.. those are for days when I'm feeling really fancy. Their cut is similar to the 511 from what I can tell.

The Levi’s site sells 501s in stretch and non-stretch. No idea if those options are available in other styles, so you’d have to check.

There's two hidden shelving units holding all the clutter. Made a big mistake a few years back trying one of those Sherwin Williams DIY garage floor epoxy kits, didn't even last two years. I really need to bite the bullet and have it professionally done.

Greenway taste of Thai raised their prices again. I’ve been a pretty loyal customer but I think I’m going to branch out to NTK and Thai princess tbh. $8 for 4 vegetable spring rolls broke me. That’s insane. They’re literally just some sliced vegetables wrapped in rice paper.

The Thai and Chinese places around here are all at least $2 for a spring roll...one place is $2.80. Then they charge extra for hot mustard. Yes, that is stupid high for what you're getting.Travis of the Cosmos wrote:Taste of Thai

Thing is I’m not even talking about the meat ones with shrimp or chicken or something in it. That’s even more expensive. I’m talking about this, more or less a tiny salad.

My garage must be a vacuum sucking in all debris. Not even two days after sweeping & shop-vac’ing and it’s dirty again. I really want to go the pro-installed epoxy floor because it will look good those few times there isn’t dirt on it. Right now it’s a hodge podge of flaking gray paint and water-stained cement. It’s kind of depressing, actually.

Wife hasn’t been ordering from ToT lately, but I think the only reason why is limited delivery options. I love the place and like you have been a loyal customer going back to the old location when her parents owned it. They even gave me a card to use for discounts. Haven’t used it since they moved. I wonder if it still works.
If you ever go to Vegas make sure to grab dinner at Lotus of Siam. I’ve heard amazing things, and the social media pics of their food look insane. I learned of it first on a 60 Minutes segment. Turns out, it’s so good that it’s a must-stop whenever a celebrity chef is in town.

A couple beers in the garden, then onto the shrubbery... By the time you get to the meat counter your ordering tbones for eveyone around, have 10 6packs of beer you never heard of in your cart and tuffle infused olive oil on your pecs somehow.tGreenWay wrote:duffy munn wrote:I spent $350 at Horrocks yesterday. It’s definitely increased its footprint since the last time I was there. It’s been a long time since I did anything but shop for perennials. My favorite grocery pickup was the day I bought a ten pound bag of potatoes. The black dirt was still moist and the whole bag smelled fantastic. I was pretty sure they’d only been out of the ground a couple hours at most, especially considering the grower was from Grand Ledge.
I do wish they opened a sister store on the east side. Word is their beer and wine selection is first rate, which would be a selling point to me. They probably sell Pabst for you.

It's a wonder to behold and I have a feeling it would be right up your alley too. The next Friday night you have nothing going on, have tWife drive you to horrocks for a beer and some live music... and a shrub and a great cut of steak and bird seed and a cheese wheel and fruits and veggies and some flavored olive oils... its not a fruit stand, its an experience.Robert J Sakimano wrote:from what I hear, it's really crowded.tGreenWay wrote:
