I was 16 when rise was released (1979). My dad liked Herb Alpert. It's good music, just not my music from that time.

I was partial to this (1978) and still am today:

I had wondered whatever happened to Herb Alpert then read he sold A&M records for a shit load of money and could do whatever he wanted.

Vinyl? Really? 8 track late 60's my old man had Herb jamming quite a bit. Played way more in our home than anything else in that time period. I liked Herb from about 7-10 yrs old = 1/17 of my life. = too much
