I saw this on an electronic billboard along I94 and though it pretty much exemplified the "privilege" that UofM sports has in this state. A star player, who should have been suspended until this was resolved, goes to court, and gets paid for his lawbreaking ways.

The worst punishment the NCAA could hit UM with is making them wait 100 years rather than 50 to claim back-to-back titles in 2022 and 2023.

...My impressions, it is hard to he a coach at Michigan. High expectations with everyone gunning for you. Then lots of politics, bureaucracy, and many opinions and feelings to handle. Recruiting is also very hard. Don't have the most fertile soil when it comes to talent, high academic standards, cant pay for play, transfer credit rules, and more such as cheating on the field. A hardworking person like Jim is probably only person who could've saved this program and can make it continue to prosper....

First off, Michigan is probably one the easiest jobs in CF. Their fans slurp up anything thrown their way. They don't have near the expectations of SEC schools, Texas, Oklahoma, USC, Miami, etc. They are born on third base when it comes to media attention, rankings, etc.

So, at a funeral last weekend, dude's (great guy, only um fan I could ever stomach) family was spreading ashes at a family farm... they had some playlist on while people were hanging drinking beer.
