I know it sounds cliche, but I think we all agree - this is the most important Presidential election in our lifetimes. We're all on board with that, correct?

So let's imagine for a second that Trapper, and DWags, and all of the others here of their ilk are 100% correct. Joe is cognitively the equivalent of Albert Einstein, and physically the equivalent of Bob on steroids. No issues anywhere to be found. The bad debate perfomance comes down to nothing more than that CNN was out to get him. Bad moderating, bad camera angles, bad microphones, bad questions.... they're totally crooked. Who knows why? Who cares? Maybe they just want to stir the pot for ratings? But now, Biden has lost the mainstream media. CNN, ABC, NBC, MSNBC, CBS, Fox News, the AP, the BBC, and a host of others are now convinced Biden is a big ol' feeble pudding brain.

How can Biden possibly defend democracy and defeat the Bad Orange Man?

Should he not withdraw from the race simply because he can't win?

Remember, we all think this election is the end of our nation if the Dems lose.

Asking someone to break the law is of course to break the law yourself, even if you are now immune from being prosecuted.

Being immune doesn't mean that everything a President does is legal, it just means they cannot be held to the law when they break it by doing illegal things.

It places the rest of the executive branch is an impossible situation when ordered to break the law by the President.

The ruling doesn't give them immunity, only the President.

So how does that work when the President can break the law willy-nilly but everyone he gives orders to has to follow the law, well, until the court issues a ruling changing that. giving immunity to all executive branch employees acting on official business, which would be logical & necessary to allow the President to act with impunity.

No, because he's been quiet while the media ruminates over Biden and craps on his character day in and day out, he doesn't want to steal the spotlight from that so they are doing his work for him.
