Both are probably true Inten.Other than Georgia the SEC doesn't look very good. I'm actually starting to think college football as a whole sucks

I feel like this gets said every year. There are usually 2 or 3 teams that look dominate and "everyone else sucks". Anyone that loses a couple of early games "sucks". Or the teams like IU that start hot are overrated and "suck". Not directing this at Duffy, just that this narrative comes up every year.

Besides last week, the games have been fucking great. If this sucks, I'm all in for it. Last week was turd soup for a number of reasons.

Why would a prosecutor running for election, unopposed, bring an unpopular lawsuit?

We all know the lawsuit against the MSU players was bogus and I'm sure Smith has been told about it and will draw his own conclusions about the archrivalry, given what happened after play was over.

With all of his swagger, Mel Tucker did nothing when his guys were railroaded after the tunnel incident. MSU too often allows Michigan to determine the narrative.

The one time I can recall when the administration fought back was when Gholston was suspended for the game against undefeated Wisconsin in 2011 after the game against Taylor Lewan and Michigan. Dantonio would not suspend Gholston as the conference wanted, and Hollis backed him up, forcing the Big Ten to do it.

All week, MSU was branded as a dirty, undisciplined team and would get their comeuppance against the Badgers, who had been destroying everyone. Not only did MSU win with the Hail Mary, the Spartans were called for zero penalties all night. Gholston ran to the stadium to help the team celebrate.

Exactly this. Exactly. This. I was going to point to this very thing so I’m glad you’ve already done it. umaa is keenly aware and pretty much experts at setting and controlling the narrative. I have no doubt it’s something they even convey to the players. It puts MSU back on its heels with the only response being “nuh-uh.”  Spartan leaders need to be way faster at being proactive instead of everyone in EL being reactive.
