Hey guys. I know you were all worried about me. We did Mackinac. Holy shit the diversity on that island. Some of the white people had brown hair, and I think I saw 4 red heads. Anyway, more golf tomorrow.

How did your kids like it? Was thinking about a day trip there from the cottage but I'm not sure what the kids would like there. They don't like fudge. We can ride bikes anywhere. We have our own horse. Have done the bridge. Give me something InTen.

We did the fort last year when we did the bridge. It's not on the Island. Fort was moderately cool.

Island has its own fort. Although the one in city is better for kids usually.

Whiteboy, haha so appropriate name for the island. The kids had fun. Probably cheaper to find a park with a slide though in the great up north. I'm about 8 vodkas in at this point, so better answer tomorrow.
House carriage at 28.50 is fucking stupid. Take your kids to the water park near there.

FJ seems they stopped selling the customized NCAA shoes. I found a site that was still taking orders. So I ordered. We'll see if they cancel the order or not. Which ones does the swill like best? 1, 2 or 3.

Probably but that would be uncomfortable. I need more arch support for tailgating.

The little bit of the golf course, left a lot to be desired. Maybe the 2nd 18 that went around the mountain had some personality to it. The place looks like its in good condition, but I'm assuming it died, because who wants to go to Gaylord?LooseGoose wrote:If you're ready to own your own golf and ski resort:

It might make a good summer home, but the upkeep is probably a bit expensive.

Like I said, the place looks nice. Probably built in the late 90's early 2000's. The problem probably stemmed from too many courses getting built during that time with no way to live through the recession. If you wanted to remake the Shining, that place looks like it would be a good place to do so.Fact Sheet and Awards

Honestly, 800k seems on the low side. Granted I don't know much about the area, or the area its in, but unless the pictures are deceiving, it is in good condition. If I knew how to find cooks, run a golf course and keep a mountain available for skiing, it might be worth the risk, especially if it could be profitable. Granted its for sale because it wasn't profitable.

Seems extraordinarily cheap. As the course owner I wonder what they are contractually obligated to provide those owning the guest rooms.LooseGoose wrote:If you're ready to own your own golf and ski resort:
