Fuck that noise. Most normal adults actually WORK a half to full day on NYE, this game would start at 1130 Chicago time. No one would watch this unless you take a vacation day here in town or you have a super nice boss. If we have to play 830, GIVE US THE 830 EYEBALL GAME

I think TCU might get into the top 4. At least the talking heads on the Fox Sprots College playoff preview show had TCU in the top 4. They were arguing over whether Baylor should jump TCU based on their head to head win, but the consensus was that Baylor's strength of schedule was too weak and TCU has received a bump in SOS from Minnesota.

Luckily I'm friends with people who have relatives on the committee and the other is twins with head of security for, well either the Dolphins or the stadium, I always get a little confused. Hopefully I can snag a few tickets from them, or at least get a discounted price.

If FSU lost to GT, they wouldn't qualify for the Orange since GT wouldn't be in the playoffs.

GT is guaranteed the Orange Bowl win or lose.

So that's actually set up on the stadium grounds/parking areas, right? Unless it's at Calder or Wal Mart, I can't picture where else it would be. Jesus, parking is going to be a disaster for the Orange Bowl. Good thing I'll be there tailgating when the lots open if MSU is playing. When they had the Pro Bowl and Super Bowl here, they set up a big fan fest which took up a ton of parking. I went to the Pro Bowl and it took 2 hours to park. They had no Plan B. It was shocking how the stadium never figured that taking up a couple of thousand parking spots might cause a parking problem. A few thousand people missed the entire first half. They weren't even allowing people with pre-paid passes to park after the stadium lots filled up. Hopefully they learned from that if they're taking up a bunch of spots for Cirque. As large stadiums go, it's normally pretty easy to park there.

How the hell would MSU get an Orange bowl invite over conference champions Wisconsin if Wisky beats OSU?

That doesn't make sense. Why would a non conference champ get a higher bowl slot than the conference champ?

The B1G Champ can NOT go to the Orange Bowl under any circumstance. Therefore, the winner of the B1GCG cannot go (doesn't matter who it is) & the loser will surely be ranked behind us. Thus, MSU goes to the Orange Bowl as the highest ranked SEC/B1G non-champ. Again, assuming 'Bama doesn't lose & the other MSU is ranked below us.

I think some members of our fanbase were upset when we went to the BigTen Championship Game (and lost) and got jumped for a better bowl by some team that stayed home. But, we probably shouldn't bring that up.

The show got moved up from 4pm to 3pm, presumably to help with logistics, but the tents will remain. Not sure if they're in the parking lots or not. We went the last time it was there and I kind of remember parking & walking on dirt/grass. Should be interesting. Hopefully I won't have to pay for parking twice. I'll have to do a recon drive by a few days before.
