I tried it neat. Didn't like it much. I dropped an ice cube in and it cut the bite down some. Not my favorite though.

I'm not trying to sound like I have everything, honest. You guys just happened to mention everything I already have in stock.

I mentioned it in the what I want for Christmas thread, but what I really want to get is a bottle of George T. Stagg. Looks like's it's impossible to get it at face value though. I don't feel like spending the chedda on after market prices for bourbon quite yet.

Never been that big of a fan of Rye. I won't turn you down if you offer me some. I do like Whistle Pig though.

Here's an idea - get yourself a $10 bottle of Black Velvet and invest the $50 in America. Cheaper whiskey now but you won't be eating dog food when you retire.

Just saw that Basil at Costco. Good stuff? I drink Blanton's (splash of water) or Woodford if I'm mixing (ginger ale).

It's got a spicy bite to it but not as strong as a typical rye. Some people say a lot of the cost goes into the fancy bottle, but I like it.

Me neither I love Bulliett, but don't like Bulliett Rye. But Templeton is very good.
