Which player will someone trade up for?
Re: Trading up in the NFL Draft
I guess Watkins. I think Khalil Mack is an awesome prospect though. If he somehow slips out of the top 5 I wouldn't hate it if the Lions grabbed him. OLB is a need anyway.

Do people think the Lions will move up to get Watkins?

The lions should trade up to get Dennard...he's going to be a hall of fame player.

Hopefully he is gone by #2 so the Lions don't do anything stupid.

Dennard will be there at 10, sounds like Gilbert will be the first CB taken. Lions could trade back a few spots and still get him 15-18.

Yeah, but now that I let the cat out of the bag and everyone knows he's going to be a hall of famer, a team will trade up ahead of detroit to get him, so that means Detroit should preempt that and trade ahead of them.
If a team could go back in time to draft Jerry Rice, he'd be drafted in the top ten of that draft. As it stands right now, we just don't know if time travel has or has not been solved yet...so, it only makes sense for Detroit to trade up given that possibility.

Clowney is probably the only one worth it, maybe Mack, Robinson if you need a tackle.
Hoping the Lions can trade back and still get Queze. If they move up to 3 for a reasonable price to take Watkins I'm not going to freak out about it or anything.

Just wondering why so many people were voting for Watkins.
I think the Falcons are going to trade up for Clowney or Robinson. Maybe Mack.
They are crazy desperate.

Clowney will be the #1 pick, and there hasn't been many much talk of them trading out of that top spot lately, so you can't trade up to get a guy who is going to be gone.
Lots of random rumors out there for teams trying to get to #2 or #3, going to be Johnny Football or Watkins.

Trades can be completed after the picks are made.

Re: Trading up in the NFL Draft
Clowney is gone at #1.
Mack & Watkins, for the right price, are acceptable. You get Watkins on the opposite side of the field, and put Tate in the slot, and Det will lead the league in longest plays from scrimmage and most long runs from scrimmage. Bush & Bell will have record years, this safeties will be 20 yards off the line.
