In his first career MLB start, Robbie Ray pitched 5.1 innings, giving up only 1 run.

Robbie left his team batting in the bottom of the 6th with a 4-1 lead. Let's hope we can add some insurance runs, and get a good showing from the bull pen. Robbie deserves a win for his efforts.

Btw, if his current ERA of 1.69 holds, Robbie is going to Cooperstown. Get your #38 jersey now!

Nice outing but let's see what he does going forward. Lots of guys do well in their debut because batters are seeing them for the first time. That's almost always an advantage for the pitcher.

Let's not suck his dick yet. He has a career (minors) ERA of 4.07, a BAA of .306 and a WHIP of 1.34. Drew Smyly on the other hand had an ERA of 2.57, a BAA .290, and a WHIP of 1.18.
