Seriously, I think we're playing for a nice bowl bid. Unless the coaches can work some magic with the special-teams and the OL during the bye week, there won't be any playoffs for us.

I hope you're right but I'm just not seeing it man there's still hope for the OL when J. Allen returns, but that kicking game…seems like if that could be fixed it would've been fixed by now.

Anyway, we're 8-0 and might have actually earned some much-needed style points today, as unlikely as that seemed with six minutes to go! Let's see what happens, but as a self defense mechanism, I am preparing myself for a most heartbreaking loss by a missed field-goal.

However I am concerned how the Big Ten office has gone dark on how a 3 way tie would be settled regarding who would go to the Big Ten Championship game and more importantly, who would the other team might be to be able to take one of the Big 6 Bowls.

It is starting to sound like if umaa would beat OSU, MSU's losing to OSU was their only Big Ten loss that the Big Ten offices would like to see a Sugar Bowl redux when the boys beat umaa, lost to Wisky in the Big Ten Championship and saw umaa get the Sugar Bowl invite.

Of course, but I'm not really expecting that to happen as things stand today. The special-teams have actually gotten worse as the season has progressed. Early in the season it seems like Geiger's head was the only issue. Today it's Geiger's head, both of the punters' heads, the long snapper, the holder…Basically we have a big dumpster fire.

Let's see what they can do with the extra week.

Can i just offer that MSU is in the playoffs right now. It's that simple. We keep winning we keep advancing. We lose one game, we gone.

OSU could lose to us and still get in. Bama will get in with one loss. MSU has zero chance to get in with a loss. Just not respected enough nationally this year with a beat up team and close victories. So, every week you watch us is a playoff game. We have to win to even be considered. If we do keep winning we can't be left out.

I will say this, if we do lose, we will see MSU take the most dramatic drop of any team that's been in the top 4. I bet we lose up to 8 spots in both polls.
