Combined bachelor/Bachelorette party tonight. We're taking a party bus. What's even better is my cousin who is getting married lives on the same street as me (where the party bus is meeting up).

Stopped at Elaz on the way to the West side today. Holy crap. 4 ala carte  burritos and a pint of cheese dip cost me 58 bucks.  I said on the phone “I didn’t want four burrito plates, just four burritos” . She said yeah 9.95 per Ala carte burrito now”. Wow.

Ate on the rooftop a few weeks back and was mildly surprised when they brought the bill. Chalked it up to drinks. I'll pay closer attention next time.

Was back on the patio around lunch today, after a morning of intense yard work. Probably hanging in for the next few days. Gonna need more naps than usual with the heat moving in.

Bought my last printer maybe 9 years ago.  Hasn't worked since the first 2.  Forgot to take it to the electronics recycling thing at work few weeks back.

You can print everything to pdf.  In the very rare occasion you need a paper copy anymore, take the file to work/Kinkos/FedEx/etc to print.  Unless you print a lot, it's way cheaper than buying a new printer and/or replacing ink cartridges.

That was the machine that crapped out, and we never used the fax in the 5 plus years we had it. It just came with the machine, so there it was. Odd but with the new car the credit union wanted a copy of the title faxed.

You know who uses and still depends on faxes? Doctor offices. I don't get it.

That's weird considering all the tech in hospitals. Fax can be a security concern.

Our company still has a fax #. Pretty sure no one has corresponded using it in at least 5 years.

At my work they put a fax number on my business card and I made them take it off. Nobody better ever fax me.

3 day weekend. As of this year, we get juneteenth off.
