Wow... LB of the year too.
This could be the most overrated player in history.

I'm 99% sure he's gone but can you imagine the nauseating amount of hype if he comes back.

I've already had a co-worker tell me he's coming back.
Apparently he "really cares about school."

It's really meaningful that half blind Dick Vitale is campaigning for Michigan as "one of the four best teams in America" during the IU/UNC broadcast.

Amazes me that Ohio State, Michigan and Nebraska have combined for three B1G title game appearances. Wisconsin has four by itself.

Interesting way to frame that considering one of those three has none

Re: Obsession - the tears of my enemies.
Does anyone outside the SCum bubble really think that:
1. SCum gets into the playoff over the B1G champ?
or
2. tB1G is getting 3 teams into the playoffs?
Because those are the only two scenarios I see where SCum gets in & they're both ridiculous.

In Michigan it's just what you said - their bubble. Outside of it, probably just for ratings and viewers.

I can't find that other thread, but I've been a pretty staunch 'no way in hell' to both.
BUT ALL the talking slapdicks on College Sports XM, ESPN, etc. think Michigan is in if Wash or Clemson lose.
I still don't buy it, I think they are missing that these rankings are at a fixed point in time and not an if/then projection...but I'm now starting to beleve there is a chance Mich gets in with a Clem or Wash lose...or 3 BIG teams if both lose l...which is a joke.

I don't care if 'Bama, Clemson, & UDub ALL lose. tB1G ain't gettin' 3 teams in & SCum ain't getting in over tO$U or tB1G champ.

If UM gets in, it's an even bigger farce than the 2011 BCS. They'd benefit from just being in the right spot. A 3rd place divisional team has a shot at a national title (at the moment per rankings) and its scary.

If u of m gets in over the B1G champ, just change the name back to BCS because we're right back where we started.

The bigger question is assuming 'Bama, Clemson & UDub all win, does tO$U get in over tB1G champ?

Ok say Washington blows this. I really think the big ten winner should jump scum. They don't play a game and are third in their division. Especially if Wisconsin wins easily that should help them leap frog them

10-2. 3rd place in their DIVISION. Coming off a loss (and lost 2 of their last 3). Sure, put 'em in ahead of an 11-2 conference champ that has won 7 (Wiscy) or 9 (Ped State) straight. Not gonna happen.

I see Wags' point and it makes sense but I think there's enough working in the other direction to overcome it. He might be right, we might be right, but hopefully we don't have to find out.
