Rocinante wrote:I heard Glenn Greenwald was on Rogan complaining that he got censored by his own website so he was leaving to start his own website. Good for him. I’m sure Joe asked him tough questions about his vetting of the Hunter Biden story he’s so pumped about and his dubious activities surrounding the Snowden stories. He’s always been a hack and he’s knowingly or unknowingly been doing Russia’s work for them for a long time.
I had an insufferable far lefty friend that worshiped that guy and he'd constantly warn about the deep state in the US before Trump and Qanon made a thing out of the deep state. I always thought GG was a fucking idiot.

All the racism, sexism, and hate aside not sure I'd take health advice from a roided up meat head that promotes a sport that causes serious brain damage.

The same people that cheered Trump for serving McDonald's to college athletes....while flipping out over Obama and his kale garden....then becoming health nuts during the pandemic is the crazy fucking thing I've ever seen, ever.

a member of the Kennedy family.. a political outsider.
it's pretty simple.. it's their attempt at siphoning off any votes from Biden so they can install their racist, bigoted christian sexual predator back in office. Look for the mainstream media to jump on the RFK train soon, if they haven't already.

His show use to be good when it was comedians, musicians, amd the occasional current events type guests. It's now un watchable. Perfect example of thinking subscriber numbers make you a critical thinker when you're just stupid with a big audience.

Bingo! You just used the term “critical thinker” and that’s the illusion of Joe Rogan. He doesn’t actually do any critical thinking but he makes his listeners believe they do.

It seems his whole shtick now is, "well what if" then 1,000,000 hear and adopt "what if". What if isn't fact, it's speculation at best. Then 1,000,000 run around saying "what if" and if you can't provide any counterpoint to "what if", then "what if" is a legitimate alternative to what it actually is.

But, America being a stupid country, I suspect pop culture personalities are "experts" in all of these areas and more to a surprisingly large percentage of the population.

My family's business ledger, passed down to each generation, has him still owing us 2 ounces of gold from a grain transaction in 1887. Thankfully we like him and find his excuses for being unable to pay amusing. Last month it was something about buying a bunch of subscriptions to keep up with recruiting news.

Hopefully, just like a student loan, you have been adding the interest to the principle.

Spotify’s co-founder/CEO Daniel Eck understands streaming and Rogan must have the pull thru of enough subscribers to offer that kind of contract.
FoxNews and NewsNation have proven there’s a sizable audience that consumes rumors, innuendo and alternative truths. If Rogan has 10M or more listeners worldwide, he’s paid for himself

I remember he had Alex Jones on election night to analyze the election night. Crazy to think Bernie thought it was a good idea to go on his show.
