I don't see what the problem is.  Odds are one or both of you won't be in the same department or even with the company in a year.  You're both young and know the drill.  And it is not like you're entrenched in the company.  If you were with the company for several years and climbing the company ladder, that is a different story.  You got plenty of time down the road for that.  Live it up while you can.
