Damn....just found out my son in law had to slow down to let a black bear cross the road in front of him right by the Fire Department in Mio.

Does Mio ever sleep? Serious, that town is out of hand. It's like New York but without the people, buildings night clubs restaurants taxi's theaters stadiums and bright lights. I'd love hanging out there for like a week or so.

The Ausable River is actually flooding a bit. I've never seen it in my life. It was actually over Cherry Creek Rd by the Whirlpool. (Right down the road from Floyd's baker woman)

With all the blow sand up here it takes a bit of water to do that. I guess a river gauge that was installed in 1995
at the Parmalee Bridge is showing it's highest water lever ever.

The AuSable river at the Mio dam spillway yesterday. Any of you that are familiar with the AuSable know how crazy this is. This is just upstream from where the Mio liveries launch their canoes.

No worries about that, I don't recall any brown people getting shot up here. When the rare shooting does occur it's usually one drunk redneck shooting another, so I think you're pretty safe.
