Heard lots of good things about the man from friends. Never is a jerk, loves the kids. SPECIFICALLY why I would never bother him. I'm not going to take advantage of that niceness.

I'm passionate about it because I'm a lawyer and that whole movement was a counterfactual strategy to get insurance companies to basically never have to pay out anything and to immensely limit medical malpractice liability. "Frivolous" lawsuits are thrown out of court extremely early and always have been. It wasn't like huge trials were happening because some jackass made up an injury or whatever.

As an attorney, how do you feel about an attorney issuing a cryptic press release announcing that they are going to sue someone and holding press conference and Q&A with the alleged victims before actually filing suit?

I am happy to learn this is not a frivolous lawsuit, but rather a smart move by someone who just doesn't have a very good case.

I think it's bs to allow this case in Alameda County. If I were the judge, I'd tell the plaintiff to fly back to Michigan if he wants a fight. I'd also laugh at Edmondson for suing because of a slap. What a bitch. Just my nonlegal opinion, though.
