College Football Is Trashy

Naturally I'm an alum so I enjoy following and rooting for the Spartans but if I'm objective I'd rank CFB about a notch above NASCAR. You travel around this country and you encounter so many goobers that are way into it.

Then you look at so many of the top players that either get drafted in the top rounds, appear routinely on ESPN, or play for championship games: Jameis Winston, Taylor Lewan, Reggie Bush, Terrel Pryor, Maurice Clarrett, Aaron Hernandez... So much trash and sleaze that is welcomed, and protected from rules/laws so they can play college football.

Then you have those Alabama fans that sat around and cheered on and laughed while a guy assaulted an inebriated LSU fan. Just disgusting.

Which sport isn't trashy to some extent if you want to look at it from those measures? Wanna hang with some down river folk at an NHL game, maybe watch two thugs without teeth punch each other? Or hey, I hear Ron Artest is in town. That should be some clean family fun. 

Have fun watching whatever stupid tennis tournament is going on that no one cares about this weekend.

You are right a lot of those sports you listed above are trashy, and also a complete waste of time.

Golf is for sure trashy. When a player's wife smashes a car with a golf club because he is having an affair, I don't see how it could not be.

I'm saying all sports are trashy, and for you to argue otherwise is amusing.

Hockey seems to have fewer idiot players, but even that is rough. Maybe it's really just a reflection of us.
