Spider-Man: Homecoming was really good. Keaton kills it again. Dude is one of the best actors on the planet.

I still think Spider-Man 2 is better, though.

Planning on seeing War for the Planet of the Apes on Thursday, and DUNKIRK next weekend. Once in IMAX, another time in Chicago in 70mm. So stoked.

I mean, the first thing with pea soup is the texture, okay?
I've had watery pea soup, it's AWFUL.
Uh, I've had gelatinous, thick pea soup, it's TERRIBLE.
Pea soup, much like clam chowder, needs to have that consistency first, that you can stand the spoon up in it, but the spoon soon tilts, that's the consistency you want.
Number two: Uh, pea soup on it's own can be a little bland. It wants, uh, a fairly aggressive peppering and salting.
Number three: Pea soup needs a fine dice of ham. Not bacon, not any other meat, not turkey. It needs a fine dice of ham.
Uh, number four: Uh, pea soup scorches easily. You don't wanna heat it on a high heat. You wanna heat it on medium low, just until it's warmed through.
Uh, number five: Pea soup is best made, uh, by hand, not out of a Campbell's can. And the key to pea soup, you want a ham bone, uh, for the stock you make, uh, to, to boil your peas.

War for the Planet of the Apes is the best film that has come out this summer so far. Great movie.

I'm not a big movie person but The Big Sick is something I could go see.. commercial for it looks pretty fun/entertaining... I'm a sucker for good, quality rom/coms.

Watching this movie "Dope".

It's pretty good. Really good score on RT.

Roe, how well versed are you on this IMAX and 70mm thing? I noticed you said you're seeing it in both.

I didn't think anything of it until I saw both options at some of the theaters around here, so I started reading about it a little apparently there is IMAX, 70mm, AND IMAX 70mm. The latter is supposedly the best and most the way Nolan intended it, but apparently only has 31 places showing it, none of which are in Florida.

So which is better between regular IMAX and regular 70mm?
