Sneaky Pete on Amazon Prime.

Just finished E3. Freaking solid. Surprised it hasn't been brought up here.

Anyone watch this?

I've watched 1.5 episodes. Agree. It's good.

I've had watery pea soup, it's AWFUL.
Uh, I've had gelatinous, thick pea soup, it's TERRIBLE.
Pea soup, much like clam chowder, needs to have that consistency first, that you can stand the spoon up in it, but the spoon soon tilts, that's the consistency you want.
Number two: Uh, pea soup on it's own can be a little bland. It wants, uh, a fairly aggressive peppering and salting.
Number three: Pea soup needs a fine dice of ham. Not bacon, not any other meat, not turkey. It needs a fine dice of ham.
Uh, number four: Uh, pea soup scorches easily. You don't wanna heat it on a high heat. You wanna heat it on medium low, just until it's warmed through.
Uh, number five: Pea soup is best made, uh, by hand, not out of a Campbell's can. And the key to pea soup, you want a ham bone, uh, for the stock you make, uh, to, to boil your peas.

Spoiler:
Yes... this movie exists in the same town/universe as Unbreakable.

M. Night said this is a thematic sequel to Unbreakable, so we were basically watching a supervillain origin story.

The next movie is going to be Unbreakable 2, with David Dunn (Willis) going after Kevin.

SOOO pumped!

Spoiler:
You can rent it on Amazon Video for $4, good for 30 days. That's what we did Monday.

I thought it was great. Vintage M. Night at his best. He makes the movies he wants to make, and doesn't really bend over to studio demands. This movie shows what he can do if a script is good, and a studio trusts him.

McAvoy deserves some Oscar consideration next year, but since the movie came out in January of 2017, I highly doubt he'll be acknowledged in any of the major awards in the film industry.

The producer (executive producer? ) is a Spartan. I believe he screens movies at the Wharton center now and then for Spartan athletes.

Oscars are on tomorrow night.

Saw John Wick: Chapter 2 today. Fucking A-W-E-S-O-M-E. Should win Best Picture next year. He killed 2 dudes with a pencil. It was sick.

I've been watching Trailer Park Boys. First 7 seasons were awesome and then Netflix brought it back and it became totally unwatchable. If you haven't watched it give it a shot but do yourself a favor and stop after season 7.
