The FIL had his stores of guns and ammo and rice and beans in the basement... Had his own little church set up in the basement too.

Died of a heart attack because he didn't take care of his diabetes.

I am picture of health. Diabetes are for fatties that sit around playing video games. I am out working the property 365/year, plus working out at least 5 times a week.

Though I have to say, I am much more in favor of quick death than suffering for months with cancer. Give me a heart attack over colon cancer any day of the week.

COUNTERPOINT: When this actually looks like it may happen, We'll revert to the pre-reganomics tax structure. Fully fund SS and Medicare and still pay off the debt and no one will be out anything. (except maybe the top .01ers wealth they aren't spending on the american economy...)
