Best campaign ad ever

So, I think it was the late 80's or 90's I was scanning the free press after an election and looking at total votes in various districts for Mayor etc. There was a town in the U.P. that a guy got 0 votes. And it struck me as hilarious, that some guy ran for office and didn't vote for himself. I mean, didn't go to vote or didn't vote for himself. Nothing. Diddn't do it. Nor did any of his relatives.

he was probably the kind of guy that ran for student council in high school and his own friends talked him out of voting for himself.

This one was brutal, but honest. Probably most families are like this, but the one idiot isn't running for office.
