Yeah I took a ride around campus and downtown yesterday. Typically a cool people watching experience. Especially on St Paddy's day. It was very weird.

I think we are intelligent enough to navigate these questions without going down the political wormhole. Except the last one obv, as politics are 100% partisan for most. And that is cool and all, but it makes for some really shitty conversation. The lines are really not that hard to cross, unless your trying to "upset people".

Schools - Our school district did not have the infrastructure to go digital. I can't imagine many do. Especially the inner city and rural districts. I'm amazed at the schools that can. I think Miami(?) posted their elementary school does. There is going to be a shitload of innovation and change that will come out of this. This is going to transform our society in countless ways. I find this aspect very intriguing.

Car Companies - This is right up my alley. Production shutting down is going to cripple my business. But I thought it was asinine that they didn't close on Monday, with all the other white collar facilities. It was obv we were heading this route. The optics alone are absurd: white collar, stay home, blue collar get to work. I also think we could of avoided this drawn out stock market crash if we just ripped the band aid off, instead of slow rolling all the shutdowns. Car sales are going to be shit the next few months. What is the point of trying keep the plants running? There is a quote on the walls of GM that says, "Fail faster, so you can succeed quicker". They didn't head their own advice.

Gov't Criticism - Same with the above. We should of ripped the band-aid off last week when it was obv the direction we were heading. We should have been more prepared with tests and medical equipment. We should of been stock piling it for the last two months. Hell, it could of been an economy boost. We should of also been screening every single person coming through immigration from the jump. Some of this falls on Trump, some of this falls on others. Posting this here is like lighting a match in a fireworks factory because I'm not toeing some partisan line. Which is why there is a separate thread for it.
