I love how at every walk of ours, everyone is all so nice. Not that people aren't nice, just that everyone you pass by waves and wishes you well. The virus has brought about a humanity in people again. Which is nice to see.

As long as that humanity is expressed with a minimum of six feet separation, it is nice.

So far, Macomb county has done a pretty good job. At least from what I've seen.

Follow up on Dad's sense of humor. I told him we could do a memorial service when everything thing calms down. He said a service months later isn't as fun as a funeral days later.

Thanks wags. the first thought I had when the lockdown started and both my wife and I stopped working was, wow, we should go spend some time with dad. Or maybe head out east and see some family. Or head to tennessee and see my son and our two grand kids. It occurred to both of us pretty quickly that we can't do that.

Instead, we have spent more alone time together than we have in 35 years. Good thing the alone time has mostly been her sitting in one room watching hallmark movies and me in another watching replays of Spartan football and basketball. Keeps the magic alive.
