I don't know much about guns (I've never shot anything more than a high powered air rifle), but I thought the same thing about how they're both holding it. He looks like his gun knowledge comes from watching Rambo, and she looks like hers comes from the old lady in Airplane, when they're all lining up to calm down the hysterical lady.

What are you seeing that makes you think that as I'm curious and I agree. I watched that video of that Auburn Hills lady drawing a gun on a lady in a parking lot. Seeing a lot of shit like that couple in St. Louis where people are armed, holding their ground and telling people to stay back. It's really weird and unsettling.

It's funny too just noticed he has on a pink Brooks Brothers Polo shirt and I'm embarrassed to say I have the exact same one in that color. Have one in sky blue as well from my old days of working in Midtown Manhattan.

I pretty much stick to the local news sites and some local writers/reporters on tTwatter. Every day there are 3-4 incidents like this. Yesterday some guy pulled up on a couple on bikes and the woman had a CCW and shot him. Read about someone getting show on 75 a couple of nights ago. White SUV shot at some guy on the Southfield Freeway last night. These incidents are not unheard of in this area but not a few of them every day. Just anecdotal evidence and I'm worried about it. I'm also worried it will hurt the message of social reform that is powerful and necessary in this country. It's very easy for some people to move the target to "black on black violence is a bigger problem" than x, y or z.

Down here a cop slapped/punched a woman at Miami international. The cop was fired today. Reading the comments, the uber patriots are pissed, saying the girl should be charged and that her bumping him justifies him hitting her. It just bizarro world. In and of itself, it's a beautiful thing as there is a very strong uprising against a dictator, that has more local and international momentum behind it than ever before.
