Learned it takes an act of God or at least Trevor to shut down an account even if you request it and it's your account.

Some of you got smarter a lot sooner than myself and left 247 for good a long time ago. I can only surmise 247 tolerates schticks and the almost daily Nucky type posting because it drives what they can get for advertising.

I hope The Swill can reman essentially mod free because there are some posters who seem to go after mods as sport. Not all mods deserve the badgering and ridicule that's tossed on them.

I'll support anyone for Mod that takes the pledge. The Pledge being that they agree to resign immediately after performing any mod type function - banning, thread merging, any of it. Do it, then resign and it's next man up as Mod. That should minimize the power trips.
