I still remember when our friendship went south. It was in a chat and I confirmed to you that I liked John Calipari. It’s a flash bulb memory for me because you blew your top. I was like huh what did I do wrong?

I see what you did there. Be careful though, there's a hall monitor that likes to tell everyone what they can and can't talk about.

Stop gaslighting, steve, there was never any friendship between us. You were one face in a sea of many, until you revealed your face to be the most punchable of all those faces.steveschneider wrote:Cameron wrote:As it turns out, your love of Kentucky and John Calipari is only about the 50th most objectionable personality trait you possess.

I agree, fwiw. Not sure if it came through that my tongue was firmly in my cheek. Just making fun of the various names that the martyrs give out when they play the victim.

What did you say that made the clique so angry anyway?
They're out of control.
I'm just here to be friends with everyone. I don't want to fight but I've learned one thing around here if you say one thing against the grain about basketball it will start one.
You say that like it's a bad thing.
I guess I can't speak for others, but to me, that's just guys giving shit to their buddies (which I think most of us are here, at least to an online extent, and sometimes more). Some posters (and I won't name any names here, but it rhymes with steve) deserve more shit than others because they say more nutty things (not limited to basketball). And also, an important component of giving someone more shit than others is that they seem good humored about it and can take it, which you certainly seem able to do. If any of the shit people give you forces you to go and cry in the dark, then I'd want to know so that people can chill.

Yankee Stadium is in Tampa? You learn something new everyday. But let's not lose sight of you equating Syracuse basketball with one of the most visible and valuable professional sports brands in the world.

Let's not get sidetracked with geography and mileage.
What's important here is not the Yankees ratings vs. the Tigers ratings. You need to analyze the ratings of the Yankees and Tigers this year vs. completely different teams from 2 years ago. That's the true test.
