That's Beoheim's second title. One more notch climbed on the Boeheim owns Izzo ladder.

Devendorf de-committed from MSU because he didn’t want to play in obscurity.

It does look to me like Syracuse drew about as well as MSU on a time slot and night that was worse than MSU's Thursday night game that was put together to be an exciting kick off to the tournament. Also, it didn't feature an opponent as exciting as UCLA.

I'll give you this, steve, Syracuse had the highest rated game on TBS in the 10p-midnight time period on Saturday night.

LOL, you're trying to spin Syracuse getting less viewers for a Sweet 16 game versus a play-in game, as a victory for Syracuse?
Also, this isn't scripted Primetime programming. When it comes to live sports, a 10pm game on a Saturday night is better than Thursday night. People are less likely to stay up late on a Thursday when there is work/school the next day.

Hmm, not so sure about that. I thought Thursday was supposed to be the 'New Friday'. Also, why has the NFL gone after Thursday nights? Also, look at opening day baseball those games always enjoy a ratings boost. People want to watch the start.

Are we looking at the numbers of all three Syracuse games? I think there's some Cherry Picking going on. Two out of the three beat the MSU game and one with a difficult time slot fell just short.

First, Steve talking about his eyesight makes him sound old. Second, I thought we moved on to coffee. I like that argument better. Third, the New York Yankees are the Syracuse Men's Basketball of Major League Baseball.

Steve.... As the tournament advances, teams are eliminated.
Are you with me so far?
As teams are eliminated, viewing is compressed.
Of that compressed viewing..... Syracuse was the second to last choice of all Saturday and Sunday games.

Weird. I thought you had to compare them to ratings from 2 years ago.
As in...Saturday’s Houston-Syracuse game on TBS posted the biggest jump, rising 37% in ratings (to 3.0) and 55% in viewership (to 5.52M).
Take a seat Junior.

Raising my hand with a question. Are you comparing an elite 8 game to a sweet 16 game after that lecture you gave me up above?

Yes. Both were stand alone games on TBS on Saturday night second weekend. It wouldn't be fair to use monday/Tues games. There's literally nothing to compare it with. I didn't set the schedule bro.

It’s amazing that people can’t accept that the team that is appealing to the biggest tv market in the nation draws good numbers.

Can someone explain to me why Syracuse had the second lowest rated sweet sixteen game? Also as a favor is ten million bigger than 5 milliom If it's in the same time slot as the five million?
