Up North begins when I sip a chilled White Claw in my pressed khakis.. strolling across the windswept veranda of America's Magical Generational Getaway - The Grand Hotel. Polished pennyloafers click across recently waxed floors to delivery me to the first of many epicurean delights.. fudge. Meeting the guys for golf and cigars.. with a little "devil may care" sweater tied across my shoulders. A glass of brandy, we discuss classic cars, craft beers and 401K portfolios.

while my physical self is a resident of East Lansing, my heart resides Up North.
