Maxwell will be worshiping god on Sundays and Connor Cook will be getting paid to play games on Sundays.

that article truly restores my faith in the larger role that He plays in my life... and with His guidance, I can do anything.

Re: Freep article on Maxwell
Whether you believe or not, this kid has found peace in his life. Don't want to discuss religion, but my brother in law always gets pissed when he sees tragedies on CNN and the victims relatives are saying "they're in a better place now". I tell him whether he believes or not, those people do and have used it to find a peace of mind. That story tells me this kid will be fine. He's well educated and has used his faith to put life into a perspective that will allow him to be at peace. Not many of us can say that. We walk around being pissed at shit, instead of calmly doing something about it. To each their own. I'm not worried about Maxwell succeeding in life.

I've never understood bashing someone's religion. It's ironic that those who do it are often those who get all uptight about bashing someone because of their skin color.

Is there anyone religious that you don't consider a freak? If so, what behavior spells freak for you? Are there atheist freaks?

Bob is careful to never dole out his opinion or have a meaningful discussion, thus retaining his status as a smug douche

And has virtually the same views on religion as Bob. Both like to tell others what to believe and yes, that's annoying as hell.

Ya know Bill, er Bob, it's fine if you don't believe in religion. It really is but why do you feel the need to mock those that do ?

mock scUM - laugh at them (which is incredibly fun, I might add), you and Blanche are like an old married couple.. he can believe what he wants, right? But yet you constantly mock him, call him names, etc.
Guess I'm not sure what the "it's okay to mock this" and "it's not okay to mock that" standard is..
oh - and apparently you can ignore me now.. that's what I do and I feel better. Not suggesting that you should, as you would be deprived of my MSU sports insight. Your decision.

I think they're telling you what they believe. To interpret that as telling you what to believe is a sign of insecurity.

Oh, so that explains the people coming up to me on campus attempting to get my contact information and talk to me about my beliefs. They are just "spreading the word", not trying to change anyone...right.
