mock scUM - laugh at them (which is incredibly fun, I might add), you and Blanche are like an old married couple.. he can believe what he wants, right? But yet you constantly mock him, call him names, etc.
Guess I'm not sure what the "it's okay to mock this" and "it's not okay to mock that" standard is..
oh - and apparently you can ignore me now.. that's what I do and I feel better. Not suggesting that you should, as you would be deprived of my MSU sports insight. Your decision.
I guess I just think making fun of things like U of M fans or Blanch is fundamentally different than attacking religion.
I won't put you on ignore Bob. I don't put anyone on ignore.
Carry on.

Quick question: are you criticizing Duffy mocking or making fun of UofM while you do that to religions? Or, are you giving the ok for it by doing So? Or will you not answer and continue to be what I consider the biggest fucking hypocrite on any board I read?

Yeah, there are people like that.
But Bob is telling people here ( pretty much all of the time ) that what they already believe is wrong.
Look, I was raised catholic and take the parts of religion I can use in real life and disguard the rest. Kinda like AA.
I don't run around telling Jews that they are wrong.

Probably. It's just tiring. I love debates but be consistent. Bitching at people for doing what you do, or criticizing one post and being worse in another is just weird. Meh. It's all entertainment. I knew he wouldn't answer. Fair enough. I nap.

Religion = UofM

Lol. I really don't think my kids do. Wife is pretty up on that and she's pretty confident that there is no use but who knows. We all hid shit from mom and dad.

I am. I never pretend to be this all American father cause I'm clueless usually. You do your best daily and hope it works out. As far as kids partying. I grew up in the late 60's and 70's. It is what it is.

Don't want to discuss religion, but my brother in law always gets pissed when he sees tragedies on CNN and the victims relatives are saying "they're in a better place now". I tell him whether he believes or not, those people do and have used it to find a peace of mind. That story tells me this kid will be fine. He's well educated and has used his faith to put life into a perspective that will allow him to be at peace. Not many of us can say that. We walk around being pissed at shit, instead of calmly doing something about it. To each their own. I'm not worried about Maxwell succeeding in life.
Let's cuddle.

If Maxwell would have been even an average QB, we would have an 8-game win streak against scUM.

Re: Freep article on Maxwell
Way back Dantonio and staff were recruiting Maxwell and Devin Gardner. Maxwell was an elite eleven QB coming to MSU. Gardner was the #1 rated dual threat QB also elite 11 chose umaa and RichRods BS.
What happens once on campus is a crap shoot. If you put together a catalog for QB's Maxwell would have been your guy. Tall, good arm, smart and teachable. But once he got on the field we all saw he didn't have "it". Maxwell may have been the best practice player but other than the second half of the Wisconsin game at Madison he never showed he could light it up and carry his teammates for whatever reasons.
Of all Dantonio's starting QB's to date Maxwell was the highest rated. Hoyer was a JLS "sleeper". Cousins was an insurance policy for Nick Foles who didn't hang around and colleges weren't lining up to fight over Cook.
Next season is going to be exciting. Dantonio has a stable of loyal understudies who have all been waiting for their shot.

Maxwell's brother publicly criticized the program for not playing his brother when the program gave Maxwell a very fair opportunity to prove himself. Damn right I am going to have a grudge about that.CORNER BLITZ wrote:InTenSity wrote:

Fuck Andrew Maxwell's brother. Andrew Maxwell was an extremely disappointing QB, but seems like a good dude (despite all the religious bull shit).

Re: Freep article on Maxwell
Absolutely agree with your right to vent about Maxwell, but I will never in my life be able to wrap my mind around how people get so upset at a kid who never did anything but represent MSU in a positive way, make the Deans list and continue to be a great representative 4 years later. It could not have scarred your lives so much that you need to vent about a kid who didn't live up to expectations but by far, wasn't an asshole.
