There have been public Board battles going back to Clifton Wharton and Cecil Mackey. Board members have, at times, been the sole reasons why dark clouds hung over MSU.

Rema Vassar is doing her damndest to make the calls for her ouster from the BOT as racially motivated and using that to obfuscate reasons why she shouldn’t have to turn over her phone to investigators.

To me it appears Vassar is running a con attempting to catapult herself to higher elected office.

I think the only way Vassar is removed is for major university donors to lean on Governor Whitmer to give Vassar the boot and replace her with another African American, woman or man.

Someone who got an MSU undergrad or graduate degree who gives a helluva lot more about MSU than the self-promotion we’ve seen from Vassar.

It should be about MSU first not craven attention seeking self-interest.
