I can't be outraged until I know whether or not it was fair trade coffee.

IMO sending an obligatory air strike or two is going to accomplish about the same as peeing on a forrest fire.

If anything, Obama and his admin have my full trust. They have nailed it in foreign affairs, never lied or covered anything up, never backed down after issuing ultimatums, never circumvented Congress after wanting to impeach the last guy for doing that...I just don't see how anyone could have anything but 100% full confidence in Obama.

agree - it's a good thing that Kenyan socialist muslim community organizer has launched an air raid on Hobby Lobby.The_Dude wrote:

Obama said Al Qaeda has been defeated and that Russia was not an issue because the Cold War is long over.

“It is time for the world – especially Muslim communities – to explicitly, forcefully, and consistently reject the ideology of Al Qaeda and ISIL,” Obama said Wednesday before the United Nations General Assembly. “It is the task of all great religions to accommodate devout faith with a modern, multicultural world. No children – anywhere – should be educated to hate other people.”

Obama wrote:'In a summer marked by instability in the Middle East and Eastern Europe, I know the world also took notice of the small American city of Ferguson, Missouri – where a young man was killed, and a community was divided. So yes, we have our own racial and ethnic tensions.'
Oh my GOD the horror of what he said is unimaginable.

Please, for one second, please try to not be that political douche bag who will cherry pick shit like this. It would make for better discussion.

Except he didn't. What I posted above is the quote.
And OTPT, to answer your original question, apparently not. Nice try though.

I'm not talking about anything Obama has ever done as president. I'm talking about the quote you're talking about.
Racial and ethnic tensions? In USA, yup. In the middle east, yup.

Re: Can we have a non-political discussion about the ISIS airstrikes?
So far airstrike are against structures and not ISIS. This means the effectiveness of an air campaign will be short lived.
People are estimating it may be a year before other countries troops will be trained (what happened to the people we have been training all these years).
In the meantime ISIS will still be growing and relocating. They are promising to bring the fight to US and the border is still wide open

Nice response. Way to counter. I don't win anything. I just proved that you're a nut. You can't see anything from a balanced view. You actually believe in this left vs right shit and there is only one "right" way. I feel bad for you, considering you're a lot older than me and I am able to keep a balanced view. It's sad. Maybe that's why the country sucks. Oh no, that is exactly why.

You do know that Bush gave a warning to Iraq before he invaded in 2003, right? Or is it just more convenient to forget about that for now?LoneWolfSparty wrote:
