another interesting aspect to conservatives celebrating the death of Michael Brown and the entertainment they gain from the subsequent fallout is how beholden they are to what they seem to believe are the "facts" as presented by the government.

Keep in mind that these are the same people who don't trust the government when a black man is in the White House - yet, when the shooting of an unarmed black kid is at issue, they suddenly refer to the government and their "facts" as justification for their celebration.

they're an odd bunch. Predictable but still odd.

So one would expect punishments to be similar for whites and blacks, no? But for some reason when white people kill black people the chances of them getting away with it are much, much higher. There's even about an 11x chance of getting the death penalty if you kill a white person than a black person!
