EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Michigan State quarterback Connor Cook says he has "unfinished business" that he would like to take care of and indicated he plans to be back with the Spartans as a senior.
Cook has thrown for 2,900 yards this season with 22 touchdowns and six interceptions. The seventh-ranked Spartans play fourth-ranked Baylor in the Cotton Bowl on Jan. 1.

The 6-foot-4 Cook took a big step forward at the end of the 2013 season, when he guided Michigan State to a Big Ten title and a win in the Rose Bowl. He's been impressive as a junior as well.

ESPN NFL Draft Insider Mel Kiper Jr. had projected Cook to have "a legit chance to go in Round 1" of the 2015 draft but with "no guarantee."

Defensive end Shilique Calhoun, another junior, said any decision on whether to turn pro is "on the back burner" and he will discuss it with his family.

It seems his return isn't as 100% as that article might lead you to believe.
