I'm much more centrist than a hard core blower. But screw any kind of internet victory. The Spartans were victorious in the only place that matters. The DE movement was born out of frustration over the football program. For that to "rise again", the program would need to fall.

Truth be told, I take no real pride in being a 5 star there. I hate the voting system and star system. Can count on one hand the number votes of any kind that I've ever given out (not counting helping Tanny's campaign for 4 star status, which was a worthy enough to cause to suspend my voting boycott). Because they only give people a couple of downvotes per day, there are many people with higher rankings than they deserve. I'm a 5 star over there largely because I'm not controversial and tend to discuss things rationally, even when arguing.

The point is that in a season like this past football season (well, from October onward), the bitching and moaning from the DEs would come across pretty hollow. What Excellence needed to be Demanded? Excellence was achieved. To grow the DE membership, MSU football or basketball need to be down.

Dude the B10 was hot garbage last year. Hell, OSU lost to Clemson in the bowl game!!!

Regardless, if the coaching staff didn't waste time dusting off last year's pl book for the first 3 games. we would have won. Hell, or just RUN. THE. BALL. It was that simple.

Yes it is. Who knows maybe with a win on that saturday our team wouldn't have practiced so hard the next week and we would not have had that ship on our shoulder for the year.
