Damn, I took an unscheduled visit to the Swill, and the 247 cooled on me as a poster. They took 20K votes from me and dropped me to a 4 star. Some other Spartans were dropped to a 3 star overnight. The voting system is set up to shame posters into posting about topics that are in keeping with the happy happy joy only subject matter that is only allowed on that board. That is part of what ruined the rcmb...the star system and the upvote/downvote system has changed the way people post. Some people just hit and run with pot shots because it draws upvotes, while others just post troll for upvotes by singing to the group think choir. So many people care about their star rating and how many upvotes per post they get that they stop being real.

Heat's decision to get rid of that here may be what makes this place great down the road.
