Somebody design us a new logo.

Need it for Twitter (square) and here, so there's continuity. We can vote on options. Needs to be related to MSU, without being TOO much like it.

I may have Photoshop on my lap top still downloaded, I can check. I'll need some ideas though, as I am not creative.

All I got is like the letters tS in a box with MSU related pics inside of the letters rather than just a fill.

It's not a bad start. I was thinking more along the lines of a logo though not a picture. I will use it for a tweet though. Don't listen to stickinthemud turtleneck.

I think we should use the disposed of Nike Spartan head logo. It is the red headed stepchild logo. We are the red headed stepchild MSU message board.

I think the logo should be some kind of a mystical symbol like on the cover of led zep 4. A sigul with a wang, a spartan S, the eye of Horus and a pair tits with the wang between it.

A couple of stipulations:

1.)I think we are sneaking by because we are using a "partial" image of Sparty or other official Spartan logo stuff. I'm assuming the same is true for other items.

2.)I personally would prefer any outreach to be somewhat tasteful.

3.)Why do we need a new logo?

I kinda wanted to work the Turkey in there but it doesn't really fit. Suggestions?

I think we have a logo if you curve the SPARTAN above the helmet.

There's some really good elements in here WBH.

I'd recommend the Wild Sparty Bottle as the main focal image, blow that part up and then a smaller spartan swill image off to the side as like a 'bug' like you'd see on tv with a network logo off to the side of the screen. I hope that makes sense. I think that Wild Sparty Bottle is brilliant actually, a good take on an iconic image.

edit: I'd lose the 'spartan' and the little drunk swirlies. Keep it to the bottle and that helmet with the word swill between the brush and the helmet.

Meh. I can do better. Or someone with some actual graphical skills can do better. I'm a manager/consultant not a designer.

I'm liking where you're going with this WBH. My two cents...

Put "SPARTAN" inside the green helmet portion (and obviously colored white).... and then I say lose the bottle of bourbon.

Maybe put some sort of SS combination within the face in white... like something they would do with old school MLB logos.

I wish I had Photoshop on any of my computers... would be a lot of fun to mess around with.
