Yeah. I never left the state. I would go check out the top players in the state. Especially MSU recruits. Neitzel was a treat.

If you are not a Twitter user, you probably had no idea that there was new news on the Miles Sanders' front.

Ultimately, there was only anything to be said because of the Internet, anyway.

Sanders' announces to the world, or at least those on social media, that he is committed to the Lions in his Twitter bio. For a brief while on Wednesday night, the four-star deleted that fact from his account, causing many to wonder what was going on.

As of Thursday morning, the four-star Pittsburgh Woodland Hills back is still verbally committed to PSU, just like he has been for a long time. There was always a strong possibility that Michigan State would make a strong late push for the WPIAL's best player, and part of the consternation from fans on Wednesday evening came from the fact that Sanders began following a bunch of Spartans on Twitter. For those unaware, the back essentially gave himself an avenue to connect with Michigan State personalities if he wanted to.

At the end of the day, Sanders is planning to visit Penn State for an official visit Jan. 22, and the Lions will surely get to his home sometime this week for a visit to reinforce his commitment and their desire in him. A visit to East Lansing could happen, too, but that isn't a guarantee.

How much room does MSU have left to recruit? I thought right now the numbers weren't adding up. Admittedly I don't follow recruiting that much, so I have no idea. Do we have room for 3 more recruits?

We're at -5 spots right now. Rumors are out there about 2 transfers which still leaves us 3 short on schollies + any additional commits.

He is comfortable, but he's also trying to get people to come to Ann Arbor and be comfortable with him. His biggest want for the 2016 class is Michigan State commit Josh King, a four-star defensive end.
