Case race strategy

Doing my first case race on Friday. 1 guy and 1 girl on each team, first to finish 24 beers wins. No puking allowed.

What kind of pace should I use? I don't wanna drink too fast and puke/pass out. But I also really want to win. Any advice?

Can you and your partner reasonably easily chug six beers? I assume you can....

Chug six while at the same time butt chugging six with your partner in a sort of weird 69/human centipede type of thing. The other team will never see it coming.

I've gotten 4 pitchers at Rama a couple times this semester and got really really drunk, but didn't die. 12 should be doable. More worried about the girl only having 7-8 and then my drunken competitiveness kicking in, resulting in me trying to finish the rest. That would be bad

Definitely the cheap stuff. Just discovered the best place to buy beer is.... Rite Aid. $8 24 pack of keystone.

I'm not worried about drinking 18, it's drinking 18 in a race format. That spells disaster. My record for a day is 24, but that was literally all day at the beach. I was exhausted after that

No idea, this'll be my first one. I was hoping one of you guys knew. Guessing ~2 hours

Never done it. I'm a all-day marathon drinker, not a sprinter. But 2 hours seems reasonable (to avoid death).

If i end up drinking 18 (which I won't..my partner also drinks a lot), it's gonna be more like 3 hours. Or I'll pass out. I'll be fine..tolerance is at an all time high at the moment

In two hours, you'd have to drink one every ten minutes if you split it down the middle. If you drink more, you're talking about 1 eveery 7 minutes or so.

Good luck. That's a tall order. I'd not consider it.
