Bush, from Schertz, Texas, is the country's 37th-ranked wide receiver, according to the 247Sports.com composite rankings. He is a major priority for Michigan State. How are the efforts to recruit him coming along for Gervin so far?

“It's going pretty smooth,” Gervin said. “He really likes Michigan State.”

Meet Habakkuk Baldonado. He's the player in question and he plays football for the Clearwater (Fla.) Academy Knights. The Knights are new to 11-on-11 football, and that's just one part of the reason that Baldonado hasn't garnered much national attention yet.

Lots of info on him on previous pages. He was the best player at a couple of camps but he needed to get his grades in order. He shut his recruitment down months ago because he was only interested in becoming a Spartan once he got his shit together. I like his film. Ok I've never seen it but JC says he's legit.

Mallory wants to commit. The staff is not letting him do it yet. As it is a huge position of need, it has to be school related. I guess he has another minor hurdle or two to overcome.

Also, Jamarcus Chatman, late DL target out of Georgia who decommitted from Tennessee and was sounding pretty promising - canceled his visit. Apparently Va Tech got in his ear and he's going there instead.
