I turned on the heat for the first time the other day. Not long but the furnace was on helped get the house back up to bearable temps one morning. That means we are getting close to pasty season and I might try something for fun…using impossible burger!

No.

I mix it up. Sometimes just ground chuck. Sometimes a blend of ground chuck/ground sausage. Sometimes chuck cut into pieces. Sometimes beans. And sometimes no beans when I forget. That's how I roll.

Chili is with diced beef not ground beef. I don't know what that is you made.

Like pasty, a coarse chili grind will work in chili. Can't imagine extra fatty Kobe mush meat would have a pleasant texture.

It's Pastie weather. Wind is 12 mph with gusts to 20. 36 degrees, feels like 28 and snow flurries.

Bought six frozen Lehto Beef over Labor Day.
Took out 2 dinner tonight with a couple of Bell's Octoberfest Marzen.

Will be making my own after the Holidays for the rest of the winter. Those Scandinavian copper miners were on to something.

Only a pic of expensive mush meat you likely got off the internet.  No pics of the process or finished product...therefore, it didn't happen.

If you did buy that meat, would have been better for making burgers.
