Jeff Fisher just got a two-year contract extension just eight days ago, for whatever that's worth. Maybe it's just a dreaded vote of confidence.

I forgot about the extension. It would be interesting to see the terms. After five years with the Rams, has he even reached a .500 record in a season?

So the legs are just speculation? Because he is going to Buffalo, Nigel. That way he can coach UM on Saturdays and Buffalo on Sundays. That is a lot harder to do when the NFL team is in LA.

Possibility. Those are going to be tough games. Clearly the NFL is trying to use the schedule to keep the Lions out the of playoffs.

The only job I think we'll see Harbaugh go to is the Colts. He's said repeatedly he'd coach Andrew Luck again in a heartbeat.

The Irsays and Halas-McCaskey families toss around nickels like they're manhole covers when it comes to paying coaches. Harbaugh's $9M per would be too much for either.

After the Miami game on Saturday, few fans were still backing Ryan.

I feel bad for the Buffalo fans. Outside of Green Bay, there might not be a place where the bond between the fans and the team is so strong, and where the team is genuine part of the fabric of the city.

The NFL is such a qb driven league. Seems to be such a huge factor for potential coaches to consider.
